The Mission

We support evangelism and missions through prayer and other support from Christians across the United States.  We are currently focusing on Mike Stockwell, an evangelist called by God to leave his hometown of Selden, NY and travel across the United States preaching the Gospel.

Mike served as a Marine for 4 years, owned his own business, evangelized in Jamaica twice, and attended the Living Waters Amabassadors Academy in 2008.  He started a train station ministry on Long Island with his church, 1st Baptist of Patchogue, which he has attended for over 14 years.  Rev. Stephen P. Willoughby and Rev. Peter M. Friedrick have been Mike's pastors and support this mission.  Please visit the "support" page for his church's contact information, and to read the letter of recommendation from Pastor Willoughby.

Mike's Scripture:

II Timothy 2:3-4:

"You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.  No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier."

"Cross country" defined: a long race run over open country.

1 Corinthians 9:24-27:

"Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize?  Run in such a way that you may obtain it.  And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things.  Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.  Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty.  Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.  But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified."
